It is safe to say that this outstanding Japanese history inspired EP from Uninvited Partners will lead to many invitations. The Shogun is a deep technoid record for both the club and the home, where intricate key patterns and percussive layers rule..
The Uninvited Partners are the Parisian based pair Sylvian Serval and Nicolas de Susini, who are influenced by everyone from The Doors to Ron Trent and NWA. In the past their music has seen the light of day via Deeplay Soultec, Rachdingue Records and Enjoy Recordings.
- FOCUS OF THE SHOGUN is a brilliant dancefloor bound winner. It takes its strength from bright keys, striding beats and cool bass work.
- DAY OF THE SHOGUN is a beautifully restrained cut. It features oriental keys, gorgeous strings and bubbling percussion.
- RISE OF THE SHOGUN is another heartfelt effort. A rising bass, kaleidoscope keys and soft beats meet on this wonderful EP closer.
